Recovery Throughout Philadelphia & Bucks County PA
Newfound Freedom’s network of recovery homes, halfway houses and sober living residences, has gained recognition among many drug & alcohol treatment centers nationwide. Consequently, we get more and new residents coming to us from larger areas outside of our immediate presence, such as Philadelphia, Trenton and all throughout Bucks County, PA. A common scenario, for instance, is that of a drug rehab graduate returning home to nearby cities like Philly and Trenton, for instance, and subsequently moving into one of our phase 1 or phase 2 recovery homes as a means for further ensuring and building upon their newfound sobriety.
A common issue inherent to larger regions like Philadelphia or even Bucks County in general, is that there tends to be limited addiction recovery housing options based on the scope of overall size and population. In fact, at any given time you’ll find that upwards of 20 to 30 percent of Newfound Freedom residents are from larger nearby cities, sometimes even as far off as Allentown or Reading, PA!
The need for structured living in Bucks County.
When Newfound Freedom first began back in 2003, it was our unwavering mission to provide not only an affordable, structured and long-term addiction treatment alternative, but to do so in a way that served not just our immediate localities. As we grew from 4 locations to 5 to 6 and beyond, we began experiencing a level of exposure that enabled us to help redefine, on a broader level, the concept of effective recovery housing.
Newfound Freedom's promise to our residents and community.
We at Newfound Freedom continue to remain committed to addiction recovery on all levels. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the miracles of sobriety, and as such we will continue to remain vigilant in the work we do. Whether you live in the immediate regions of Bristol and Levittown, or further out such as in Philly, Trenton, Allentown, Reading or beyond, we’ll be here to help when you’re in need of a long-term solution to drug or alcohol addiction!
Development and filling the gap of regional sober living.
Throughout this process however, we began to see that larger nearby cities like Philadelphia, Trenton, Allentown, etc. were often under-serviced when it came to providing reputable recovery housing, or similar sober living type residences. While they may have been okay with respect to licensed addiction treatment services, they seemed to fall short in the area of aftercare housing, a process that would best ensure one’s likelihood for building strong foundations in sobriety.
